Outside of The Prudential Center on Boylston Street, Bostonians have been amazed by the larger than life daisies. Sponsored by Prius, the flowers are solar powered and allow walkers to sit, charge their cellphone or computer, and wirelessly surf the web right in the middle of Boston! In addition to these solar powered daisies, every Thursday there is a Farmer's Market right outside the Prudential Center. People are going green in the most unexpected places!

How cool to allow artists to put their impression on solar collectors. Why not allow these energy generators to reflect our sensibility to the arts.
ReplyDeleteI love this concept. These daisies are smart, creative, and community-building. With all of the direct sunlight on our campus, there may be a solar application for such an idea at Pingree.
ReplyDeletethat is so cool! i cannot wait to go see it
ReplyDeleteI think that the daisies are a really great idea. It allows people to charge their cellphones and computers in the middle of Boston using green energy, which they might not have used at home. The daisies help save energy. It also raises awareness about alternate energy sources. They also look like that they are a great place for people to sit and enjoy themselves.
