  4. I think that this is a great idea. Not only does it save then environment, it saves people money and works real well on your clothes. Also since they are hypoallergenic anyone can use them. Another plus is that unlike detergent these washing machine magic balls can be used up to a hundred times. Since laundry is something that everyone must do i think that this is a great eco-friendly idea.

  5. In my experience I have found that "All Small and Mighty" works just as well, if not better, then the leading gallon-sized detergent. "All Small and Mighty" washes up to 2x the amount of laundry in one bottle, and the container is compact and recyclable. I have also found that the "Seventh Generation" cleaning products are environmentally friendly and work wonderfully.

  11. Thats a sweet thing that I think should be in every household. Without using detergent it would decrease the chemicals that are put inot our enviornment and we would also save the money and not have to buy more every once in a while. And with the amount of laundry my family makes, it could make a big difference.

  12. This is a really great idea! I know in my house we go through so many
loads of laundry a week, releasing all those harmful chemicals. This is a really good alternative for the environment, especially how each ball lasts for about 1000 washes and dries.

  20. Harlyene and I are so thrilled that you love the washball! Also thrilled that young folks are so open to new ideas to benefit the greater good.

I'm going to get the results of a study done comparing the Green Wash Balls to a "famous national brand" of detergent. The outcome was that they had equivalent cleaning power, which is pretty much what we thought from our own experience. That means there is no reason to use chemical detergents in your household wash.

Interestingly, many retailers have NOT wanted to carry the Green Wash Balls, and you won't believe why. They think that they're so good that they will lose their profits from selling laundry detergents! So they won't give consumers the choice. Heartbreaking, isn't it? On the one hand, they sell "green" products, on the other they won't unless they are sufficiently profitable.

Keep on loving the natural world, and acting to preserve it -- keep walking your talk!
