"Earth called. It says thanks."

Planning on getting a new cell phone for the new school year? Check out the Samsung Reclaim, the first phone on the market made out of 80% recycled materials. It's wicked cheap, and some of the proceeds go to The Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre program! Best of all, it comes in two colors- green and blue of course!

  1. i think that this is a very interesting idea. The first reason why i think this is a great idea is that it is made out of 80 percent recycled materials which is a way of being environmental conscious. The second reason why i think its a great idea is that its cheap and most phones that have keyboards like these are usually a lot of money but buying these can save you a lot of money. The third reason is that all the proceeds go to The Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre progam which means all the money spent on the phones goes to a good organization that is willing to help the environment out the best way it can. I think this phone was a great idea.

  2. This phone was an ingenious idea.First of all it is environmentally friendly, 80% recycled materials, secondly the money goes to a program which helps the environment (adopt an acre) and also it is half the price of most texting phones and lastly it is farely easy to use and is a practical design

  3. If 80% of the people on the planet who are lucky enough to have and use cellular phones had this phone rather than the phone they possess today, then there would be far less phones ending up in dumps and landfills. The phones that are being discarded to these areas are a danger to the environment because of the hazardous materials they are composed of. Now that this phone has been invented, my guess is that many other companies will be designing "greener" cellular devices soon to protect the environment.

  4. The Samsung Reclaim is a terrific cell phone for many reasons. One of those reasons is the fact that it is made up of 80% recycled materials, which makes it guarenteed to be more environmentally friedly compared to other phones. Also, the phone looks to have very user friendly features. It has a full qwerty keyboard and a large screen display. Some of the proceeds go to The Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre program. This phone is an excellent product.

  6. It's a good idea but it would be a lot better if it was on other cellphone carriers besides Sprint.

  7. The Samsung Reclaim is the start of future cell phones. If everyone could buy one of these then we would be able to cut down on pollution across the globe. These phones are great for young teens and adults because now everyone is texting and it has a great design. The most important feature is that they are 80% recycable which means less pollution. 8. i think that this is a very good idea for several reasons. one almost all teenagers use or have a cellphone so putting a green produt out that targerts a wide range or people is good. also this product is inexpensive so most teens could buy one without spending alot of money. others pluses are that its made from 80% of recycled materials, some of the profits go to a green company, and it comes in two different colors!

  9. Whoever came up with the idea for this phone definatly deserves a raise. Cell phones are becoming somewhat of a necessity in this day and age, and the fact there is a phone that still has all the same functions as a normal phone, but is 80% recycled materials and cheaper then others of its kind means that people can still get what they need out of a phone while saving our earth at the same time. It's a brilliant invention.

  12. The Samsung Reclaim is perfect for people who want to become environmentally friendly but don't know what to do. It also is an easy way to be environmentally friendly because one does not have to drastically change their way of life style. It's like killing two birds with one stone but in a good way because you get a working recycled phone and your proceeds go to The Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre program.

  13. Creating a cell phone that not only works efficiently but is very environmentally friendly is a extremely clever idea. A majority of people in not only the United States but in the world use cell phones and to make such a popular communication device out of recyclable materials will help to prevent global warming in many ways. The Samsung Reclaim will definitely be the start to years of green( not the color) cell phones to come.

  14. This is a very good idea that could be a new start in how cell phones are made. More services like Verizon and AT&T should carry phones like this and it is good that they are giving back to the Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre program.

I think the idea of having a cell phone like this is amazing. Not only is it cheap but also a way of reducing our yearly stash of trash. In addition, some of its proceeds even go to a program that works to keep our environment healthy. However, if this phone came in other cell phone companies like At&T or Verizon Wireless as well it would attract more popularity since so many people (including myself) have phones from such places.

  16. A recycled phone is a great idea! With all the waste we are creating it is good to see a company trying to get the most out of everything. This phone is appealing because it is any easy way to help the enviroment without spending a lot of money. It is a shame to see that other companies such as at&t and verizon dont have recycled phones.

  17. I think this is a really good idea. I use my cell phone daily and get a new one ever two years. Now with this new phone I can be helping the environment while still living my daily life. Also it is also a great phone because it is cheap and some of the proceeds go to the The Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre program. Most phones are very expensive now and with the low price and some of the money going to help the environment this is a perfect phone for people in todays times!
